While Islamic rulings and injunctions are generally laid down for both men and women just the same, sometimes there are instances where certain rulings are specific to one gender, and not the other. The rulings specific to one gender and not the other can only be reached if there is evidence from the Qur\u2019an and\/or Sunnah. The same goes for prohibited matters: they are generally applicable to both; however, there are occasions when certain prohibitions are strictly reserved for one and not the other.<\/p>\n
